Some key information about [Easy Land] Rentals
- Roomie/Plus-One: Someone that shares the land with you
- Roomie requires separate group invitation, sent manually
- Limit ONE Roomie per renter
- Roomies have abilities 1, 2, 3 only (see above)
- No limits on visitors, clients, other short term guests, no group needed
- The rental meter must be clearly visible from the landing zone and must within 10m of the landing area
- For customers/visitors arriving, the meter can be behind, beside, etc - out of the line of sight - I'm happy to assist
- The Rental Vendor and Subscriber Kiosk will be removed when you rent (this is not automatic, so please be patient)
Using a Radio or Media Player on Your Property
This is for objects/devices that are required to be Deeded to the group:
- Rez your radio/media object
- Right-click the object and select Edit
- Select the General Tab
- Click the Wrench icon to the right of the Group item
- Select the [Easy Land] group
- Check the Share option
- Click the Deed button
- Read the message and click Deed if you agree
Your media item is now ready to use, consult its manual for futher information
Recovering your Radio or Media Player From the [Easy Land[ Group
If you followed the directions above to Deed your item to the group, follow these directions to regain control or be able to pick up the object:
- Carry out these directions when you are, ideally, alone, or in the presence of people that you trust
- You will be setting you object for sale to become the object's owner. Anyone that is present can buy it as soon as you set it for sale!
- Right-click the object and select Edit
- Select the General Tab
- Click the For Sale option
- In the drop down to the right, select Original
- In the Price field enter zero
- Click Apply
- Buy the object: You might be able to simply click the object to buy it, or right-click it again, select More, and then select Buy
Your viewer will confirm that you are now the owner; you can pick it up, or do as you like with it
