How To Rent at [Easy Land]
- Browse Available properties online or in-world
- Visit plots of interest
- Click the rental meter for a copy of our General Information notecard, and review it careflily (most of the information is also available on this website)
- Enable Property Lines in your viewer (in Firestorm select World - Show More - Property Lines)
- Observe surroundings, land configuration
- If you wolid like to rent, simply pay the meter to start your rental
- Accept the group invitation to the [Easy Land] group
- Optionally Set Home and create a landmark to your new property
- Subscribe to [Easy Land] Updates list (kiosk on your property or in our Rental Office). This is for updates, offers, and other important information. This does not require group membership and you can unsubscribe or block at any time
As a Tenant, you have the following abilities on your rented land:
- Immediate, automatic invitation and membership in the [Easy Land] group
- Build/Rez on your land
- Set Home
- Teleport anywhere on land
- Change music & media settings
- Deed objects to group (and set deeded objects for sale)
- Return non-group objects
- Change land name, description
- Set Environment
- Eject and Freeze resident
- You can also move for free between any available [Easy Land] properties (limited to one move per week)
These features alone are available at often much higher prices and this is in addition to great locations and excellent service/support
Some tenants have reported problems with teleporting to their land, arriving at the preset landing zone. Having [Easy Land] active before teleporting solves this issue. It might be easy to forget to set your group - Firestorm recently updated the viewer and one cool feature is that it can activate any group for you whenever you enter a specific region!
<>Here's how to setup Firestorm version 7.2.4 or later:To set a Group to become active for a region whilst physically within the region:
- Open the Groups panel (CTRL+SHIFT+G) in your viewer and click on Group Titles button to display the Group Tiles floater
- Click the required Group name in the Group Tiles floater to highlight it
- Click the This Region button
To set a Group to become active in a region when not in the group's region:
- Follow steps 1 and 2 above
- Click on Type Region button
- Enter the exact region name in the pop-up prompt, and click OK to apply
