About Zindra in 2026
Linden Lab announced in April 2026 that it was expanding the adult continent, called Zindra. Below is a map of what Zindra looked like as of March, 2026:
The areas to the southwest and southeast had been incomplete for years. With the announcement, LL added new land to the areas as shown here:
The new land features public waterways, flanked by resident owned land, creating unique spaces in Zindra.
In July 2026, [Easy Land] acquired a property of 16,384 square meters in the Rouge Hollow region. The property's location is outstanding as shown here:
The property is on a peninsula and extends into a public access waterway. The property has an amazing vista view of the surrounding area in all directions, with an emphasis on the waterway. The topology is a gentle downward slope from the west to the east, reaching into the Linden water.

About [Easy Land]'s Unique Parcel Designs
In Second Life, common plot sizes are 512m, 1024m, 2048m, and so on. The plot sizes are based on a much smaller 4x4 meter grid that defines all land in Second Life. The standard plot sizes are relatively easy to lay out on the grid's 4x4 structure, so common approaches to these plots often end up looking like this:
The only, often very usable, shape is the rectangle created by the 1,204m plot, which is 32m x 32m. The other configurations, for the 512 and 2048 sizes, end up being long and relatively narrow plots. These common layouts are mathematically consistent and relatively easy to subdivide. In practice though, land owners, and renters, are limited by the land's configuration: houses tend to be a maximum of 32m wide, and many properties feature gardens at the front and/or rear of the property with very little space on the edges. Alternately, some land owners, or renters, configure buildings such that they are wider but shallow.
